K-Law Consulting Designated As Legal Service Organization By The Korean Ministry Of Justice

K-Law Consulting became the first legal service organization (“법률사무종사기관”) designated by the Korean Ministry of Justice as a Foreign Legal Consultant office established by a Korean lawyer registered with the State Bar of California.

A legal service organization is an institution that provides legal training for lawyers who have passed the Korean bar exam which is required by the Korean Attorney-At-Law Act. Also, it is an institution, limited to places designated by the Korean Minister of Justice as allowed to engage in legal affairs after examining the members, duties, and practical training plans of the institution.

For your reference, as of March 15, 2022, there are only 13 international institutions designated as legal service organizations by the Korean Ministry of Justice, including the KOTRA, Los Angeles.
